I Love You, K1s!!!

It's heartbreaking to say goodbye for now to you all my babies...But you are all funny smart because you remember my story that I will ride the airplane going back home to the Philippines with my mama.

I will miss you all!! Thank you for all your love and our happy memories...
I know that you will all be good boys and good girls to your new teachers (Ms. Shyama, Ms. Tika and Ms. Manda)..

Root Vegetables Part 3..

This time around, students had a taste of peanuts and tapiocas. They all helped in preparing both root vegetables and of course with munching them as well...yummy!

Meet our Little Doctors!!!!

Our little K1s re-enacted the song "Miss Polly had a Dolly". Each kid had a chance to play the roles of doctor, Dolly and Ms. Polly. They all had fun wearing the oversize lab gown, doctor's hat and eating the pill (Skittles!!!)..

Miss Polly had a Dolly who was sick, sick, sick

So she phoned for the doctor to come quick, quick, quick

The doctor came with his bag and his hat

And knocked at the door with a rat-a-tat-tat

He looked at the Dolly and shook his head

And said "Miss Polly put her straight to bed"

He wrote on a paper for a pill, pill, pill

I'll be back in the morning with a bill, bill, bill

K1 children were asked to wear smart casual clothes for their yearbook pictures. They all looked smart, pretty, handsome and CUTE.....:-)

Root Vegetables!!!

We are studying PLANTS this term with a focus on parts of the plants we can eat. In the past weeks, K1 has been exploring root vegetables.

K1 were busy enjoying their boiled potatoes, carrots, turnips and fried sweet potatoes! Yummy!!!

Students were given different scrap materials to use in creating their masterpiece, their tree...
